The Basic Pug

This pen and brush ink drawing of my seven year old pug, Stitch, was done in less than 3 minutes.
I used a Crosstm Fountain Pen while looking at Stitch asleep on the floor. After some minimal hatching at the ear and face "mask" area, I used a nylon brush with its own water reservoir to wet these, resulting in dark medium gray brush strokes.
The nylon brush was a gift from good friend, Rene Javellana SJ who brought it from Japan. The Japanese have a nifty invention for everything! This always-wet brush is very handy for quick washes and wet sketches like this one.
